Don’t miss the Municipal Museum inside a former convent, the Roman Núcleo Museológico Islâmico, and the panoramic views from the castle ruins.
Lagos
Lagos is a vibrant destination with a bustling Old Town and stunning natural attractions. Follow the cliff trail or the new boardwalk to Ponta da Piedade, a dramatic headland featuring breathtaking rock formations. Explore some of the Algarve’s most impressive beaches, such as Praia dos Estudantes and Praia do Camilo. The new boardwalk offers an accessible route along the cliffs, making it easier to admire the coastline. Venture into the town’s Old Town for great dining and nightlife experiences.

Silves is a quaint village with cobbled streets, whitewashed buildings, and a castle overlooking the town. Sailing along the river from Portimão offers a picturesque approach to Silves. The region is also known for vineyards and wine tasting experiences.
